Last updated: 1 July 2026

This page explains what happens to the information you send me when you use the booking form on this website. I keep it short and only collect what I need to reply to your enquiry. If anything here isn’t clear, just email me and I’ll explain.

Who I am

This site belongs to Torin Baker, performing as TJ BAKER, a DJ based in South West London. For anything to do with your data or this policy, contact me at bookings@tjbaker.uk. I’m the person responsible for the information collected here (the “data controller”).

What I collect

  • What you type into the booking form — your name, email address, and any event details you choose to share (date, venue/location, set length, budget and the vibe you’re after).
  • A spam-prevention record — to stop bots abusing the form, I store a one-way scrambled version of your network address (a “hash”). It can’t be turned back into your actual address and isn’t used to identify you.

I don’t use analytics or advertising trackers on this site.

Why I use it, and my legal basis

I use your details for one thing: to read your enquiry and get back to you about a booking. Under UK GDPR my lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and my legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and preventing spam. I don’t sell your data or use it for marketing.

Who else is involved

To run the form and reply to you, your information passes through a few trusted service providers:

  • Supabase — stores your enquiry securely (servers in the EU / Ireland).
  • Resend — delivers the notification email to me and the confirmation email to you.
  • Cloudflare — hosts the website and runs the “are you human?” check (Turnstile) on the form.
  • Google Sheets — I keep a private copy of enquiries here to stay organised.

These providers only process your data on my behalf and aren’t allowed to use it for their own purposes.

Embedded content

The Mixes section can load players from YouTube and SoundCloud. These only load if you click to play, and at that point those services may set their own cookies and receive your request under their own privacy policies. Nothing loads from them until you choose to play.

How long I keep it

I keep booking enquiries only as long as needed to deal with your request and any resulting booking, and then clear them out periodically. If you’d like your enquiry deleted sooner, just ask.

Your rights

You have the right to ask me to:

  • see a copy of the information I hold about you;
  • correct anything that’s wrong;
  • delete your information; or
  • stop using it.

To do any of these, email bookings@tjbaker.uk and I’ll sort it out. If you’re unhappy with how I’ve handled your data, you can complain to the UK’s Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

If I change how the form or this policy works, I’ll update this page and the “last updated” date at the top.
